Designed by celebrated Italian architect Rodolfo Dordoni for Minotti in 1999, the Calder Coffee Table is an elegant expression of modern Italian design. Clean architectural lines pair a slender black metal frame with a rectangular marble top, striking a balance between lightness and sophistication.
Calder adopts an architectural approach, expressed in rational shapes. The frame is made from fine 10 × 10 mm metal section, so the solid 20 mm marble top appears almost to float above it. Thin bases, clear-cut geometry and a quiet simplicity run through the whole Calder family, which grew to include low and high coffee tables, side tables and consoles.
More than 25 years on, it remains one of Minotti’s signature tables. Its minimalist profile complements contemporary settings, while the premium materials give it lasting refinement.
Condition
Overall excellent condition, with light wear consistent with use (see photos). Marble is a natural stone, so variations in colour and veining are part of its character, not defects.
Ideal for
Luxury living rooms, executive lounges and refined reception spaces.
